Lions moto is "We Serve" and that is what we do. Throughout the year we give up time to raise money for local charities, many of whom come to us for help for particular projects.

We also have helped these charities in the past couple of years:

• Macmillan Cancer Relief
• Mersey Kidney Research
• Hospice of the Good Shepherd
• Hope House Hospice
• Claire House Hospice
• The Countess of Chester
• Plas Bellin (Save the Family)
• Local school choirs
• Local school holiday funds
• Other local charities
• Numerous individual requests to assist

Lions organise and participate in several high-profile community events in Chester including:

• Annual Variety Show for OAPs
• The Chester Carnival
• Annual Charity Caravan Rally
• Family Fireworks Display
• Santa Sleigh Bucket Collection

We also organise and run many smaller events all the year round and often provide manpower such as stewarding for other charitable events.
